EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT

As proof of managements support of their employees, that allows personnel a great deal of individual responsibility. They have an extensive profit sharing and monthly recognition program. The reason, as one store manager observed, is employee involvement is the key to the success or failure of any retail organization. It is management responsibility to support their employees because if their employees are more interested in the company they are more likely to offer friendly service and find ways to increase productivity and profits. They knows customer satisfaction begins and ends with their personnel. Management here makes a point of getting to know their employees. They know all the employees on a first name basis and know a lot about their personalities.
